Located in the Leagrave area of Luton and within walking distance
of Local Shops, Banks, Post Office, Library and the British Legion
Club. The home is approximately one mile from junction 11 of the
M1 motorway and easy access to Leagrave Railway Station.
Accommodation
The accommodation at Alicia is arranged on three floors, each floor
being run as a separate unit with lounge and kitchenette facilities.
There is a communal dining room on the ground floor. Offering 33 single
and two shared rooms some with en suite facilities. Specially adapted
bathrooms with Parker baths and special hoists are available for the
needs of the Service Users. Nurse call system in situ to summon staff
assistance when necessary. Passenger lift to serve all floors.Wingfield
Unit offers 24 single rooms making a total capacity of 61.

Day Centre
A purpose built day centre attached to Alicia managed by a day care
Manager provides recreational and daily living activities Monday
to Friday for Service Users and also for the community. Outdoor
activities can be organised on request.
Meals
Hot and cold meals are available. Varied and nutritious food is offered
and individual variations are catered for.
